My husband and I are looking to move to nc to be near family.
We need a town that has boarding facilities for our three horses.
Hope fully also with some trails to ride. We both need jobs. We can both do manufacturing, distribution and warehouse. I can also do sales.
We would like to find a town that has a little night life and outdoor activities. A calm very little crime area. My children are grown so schools are not an issue. Any suggestions.

I don't know what your price range is but Black Horse Run is great. (It's an HOA) This is in Bahama,NC which is in Northern Durham County out in the country. Black Horse Run Homeowners Association

This is a Treyburn link, but it is near BHR and I wanted to show you companies in Treyburn Corporate Park since you mentioned manufacturing, distribution, and warehouse. This is about five minutes away from BHR. Treyburn: designed for connections. (http://www.treyburn.com/connections.shtml - broken link)

Also, this is in the Triangle and there are numerous job opportunities. Of course keep in mind of the current economic situation as it is harder to find a job now and definitely come down with one. Good luck!

There are lots of subdivisions similar to Black Horse Run (Black Horse is in N Raleigh, not Bahama)throughout the Triangle in that they allow horses. Many of them will have their own boarding facilities.

Don't know the price range you wish to be in but here are just a few of the subdivisions.
Saddle Run
Mills Ridge
Centaur Hills
Little Beaverdam
Palomino Gaits
Cedar Creek
Belmont Ridge

There are many more and if they do not have boarding, there are boarding facilities nearby.
All are in commuting distance to RTP and downtowns.

There are two, both in Raleigh and Bahama. My friends family chose to build in the Bahama BHR back in '93 b/c it wasn't in the flight path.

Again, here is the website which IS located in Bahama (Durham County):
Black Horse Run Homeowners Association
