About 20-25 miles north of Charlotte. Just past Concord.

Investment potential is best in Ashville, Charlotte, Raleigh...in that order. But an upcoming star is Kernersville and Clemmons. The FEDEX hub will be fully operational in Nov 2007 in Greensboro and the DELL plant in Kernersville is slated to be the best that DELL has ever built. Toyota may also soon decide to setup its manufacturing plant soon in the Greensboro neighborhood.
property prices for the last few years have been appreciating very slow at 3.-4%. In the last 2 years though it has started climbing to 7-8% after the advent of Dell the demand seems to be increasing. I moved to a new neihborhood last year. It has appreciated almost 12 % since then. The future...who knows.

This is what my salesperson at the Farm keeps touting to me. It's like 8 miles or so from where I will be. He tells me a bunch of hi-end plans are in the works for the whole area.

After what I've seen in Phoenix I don't think that matters one bit. We had 100's of new developments all over the Valley and half of the businesses Charlotte has and we skyrocketed. You guys would not believe what went on here in the last 2 years in a parched desert land.

I used to spend my Summers up there in Emerald Green. I went to College in Sullivan county. Those were the goos ole days. I actually lived in Monticello when I was in 5th grade.

I think I lived off of Rt 17 is that Loch Sheldrake?
