My family and I are from the DC area and are currently looking to move to NC. We would love to move to an area with an excellent school system since we have a daughter. My husband and I are caucasion and chinese and want to make sure that we are in an area that our family will be accepted. We love being outdoors (beaches and golf especially) and are very active people. We would like to move to an urban area where there will be lots to do and friendly people.

thanks for your help!

Charlotte is the largest city in NC. The Uptown area is nice and there's lots to do. Check out visitcharlotte.com. You can check out schools on my website as well as view homes to get an idea of prices. My web address is under my profile. If you have questions send me a pm.

Default good town

Try Chapel Hill or Wake Forrest, Right beside Raleigh. Great towns to look into to.

The Charlotte area would be a great choice. It's affordable, has a strong economy, LOTS of recreational assets (including many outdoor activites/lakes), and 2 hours to mnts., 3.5 to beaches. PM me if you want more info.
