Thinking of moving to Gates Four in Fayetteville and want to know what builder is considered the best in the community. I understand there are two, Jimmy Hobbs and Ashton Homes. Anyone have experience with either of these?

Right now there are the following builders offering active new contruction homes...

KEITH JACKSON BUILDERS,INC
RIDDLE BUILDERS, INC.
CRA HOMEBUILDERS, INC /Jimmie Hobbs
CRA HOMEBUILDERS,INC. / JOHN CAMPBELL
JIMMY HOBBS BUILDER, INC.
ARMSTRONG BUILDERS, LLC, JIMMY HOBBS, BUILDER, INC

I have not heard anything bad about them. Wish I could be more help, I have not dealt with them professionally yet. I know the residents of Gates Four are still up in arms about being annexed so please check up on upcoming assesments for sewer, etc.

Default Gates Four

We have looked at everything in Gates Four and are not so impressed with the new construction. It seems the only game in town in for a private development in the Jack Britt district. We are pretty limited with kids in high school. Anyone know of anywhere else to look? We saw several preowned homes that we like in Gates Four. Any thoughts on other neighborhoods in that area that might be comparable? We are pretty set on Gates Four but only want to spend +/- 350k.

There are a couple existing homes in Camden Woods between 308K and 310K. A few more here and there. Your agent should be able to pull up everything in the school district. If you need help let me know.

Thanks for all your help. After considering everything we ended up in Camden Woods. We found a resale that we really liked in Gates Four but it sold before we made up our minds-our fault. Just couldn't see paying the prices they want for new construction. Camden Woods offers a lot more new house for the money. Plus the people are a lot easier to deal with.

Great! I'm glad you found a place you liked.

There are some good deals out there on new construction. The wife and I are in the early stages of building our home in Grays Creek area (Braxton Farms) and getting a basic 3100 Sq. Ft. home for only $220K.

Our Gates Four Home is a CRA home and we felt lucky to have them build our house. The workmanship was excellent and the after-sale support was also good.

I'm an AF officer who served at Pope AFB and always enjoyed coming home to Gates Four. We are stationed overseas now and rent our home. It's a great place to live.
