Is there any demand for roofers up there? I've searched a couple of sites like indeed.com and they come up with zero results for roofing jobs. Is the market flooded or is there just not a big need for them. Either way I'm heading out this weekend and I'm bringing my nailgun and hand tools. Is there anybody on the ground up there thats got info on how construction work is going that could give me a heads up.
Why not stop in Eastern North Dakota. You could probably find a job paying just about as much, MUCH cheaper rent, and don't have to wait 30 minutes at Micey D's.
Check Fargo, Jamestown, Grand Forks, and even Bismarck.
Here ya go (from Job Service):
Perform commercial roofing work in the Jamestown and Valley City areas. Work with either hot asphalt or membrane roofing. Drivers license preferred. Drug screening required at some work sites. Health, Life and Disability insurance after qualification period. 401K available after 1 year. New construction and reroofing

Reason: Do not post individual jobs. Just give link to Job Services and say you saw listings.
You should search for forums that are specifically geared toward construction projects. Many people post in them with questions and many contractors are part of them as well. If you post this thread on construction forums, you may have better luck.
