I will be moving to Stanley in September but will only be there for 4 months. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where/who could accommodate me during my time there. As well as anything to do.(fishing, hunting, etc..) thanks!!
Stanley it pretty decent for the versions of small-town America that cover Western North Dakota. They have a great Mexican restaurant, several junk food restaurants, a few c-stores, a grocery store, a hotel and then a bunch of company housing.
They have trailer houses for rent, but they look like re-fabs of the FEMA trailers from the 2010 flood. So inspect them carefully if you choose them.
They also sport a public library. Which makes me an instant fan, as I believe literacy is not stressed enough in these communities.
