More good news for downtown Wilkes-Barre. Two more restaraunts are joining the growing number of dining options in the Diamond City. I'm personally looking forward to the EuroBistro to open...sounds tasty! Here's the link...Two restaurants set up shop in downtown - News - Citizens Voice

I just saw a menu for the Happy Hot Dog Co....looks a little pricey, $2.00 for a hot dog. Hope they do well, but when you can get one of the best hot dogs anywhere down the street at Abe's for close to half of the price, who knows...

Geez. What do you think this place is, Top Dog? Home of the $0.39 hot dog?

Glad to hear there are new places coming in.

I'm happy there are new places coming in as well. But we still need a grocery store down there! LOL

Downtown Wilkes-Barre is certainly headed in the right direction. When I was in town recently I was amazed by all of the construction that is continuing to occur. The intermodal transit center is about to open, Bottleneck's restaurant will soon be opening, sidewalks are being replaced, new diagonal parking spaces are being painted along Public Square, etc. It still has a LONG ways to go, but anyone who can't see the progress that has occurred in the city over the past 5 years must truly be off their rocker!
