I actually enjoyed the vivid dreams. I very rarely remember any dreams I have. Not so with Chantix, although I didn't have the horribly violent ones that some people had.

Not my nightmares. I had dreams about my kids dying in front of me, about my husband trying to stab me, etc. ::shudder::

I can't help but wonder WHY the area is number 2 in the country, though. Could it be because of the older population?

Riverside, I wish you great luck in quitting. I wish I had good advice on how to do so, but I quit smoking after 22 years (I started when I was 11. Yeah.) mainly because I was briefly unemployed in Jan 2007 and it was either cigarettes or food/bills/rent. I wouldn't recommend leaving a job just to quit smoking, but it worked for me.

traveling around this country through the years has made me notice how extensive the smoking is here--it is hard to be aware of that if one has lived in this area a long time and has become used to the huge amt of second hand smoke and smokers everywhere(only place i have ever experienced a medical office reeking of cigarette smoke
