Since moving here I have tried a few nail salons and I have been a bit disappointed. In one case the wait was very long, in another I didn't think that the place was too clean.

I also found both of them to be a bit pricey.
My hairdresser only does manicures and you need an appointment.
Any suggestions? My daughter and I need to go before Easter

Thanks!

I guess we're mostly do-it-yourselfers. I like a basic Epsom foot soak and a scrubby pumice thing. I chew my fingernails too much to worry about them.

What about a mom/daughter do each other's nails thing? Could be fun!

We do it all the time as far as fingernails! And I agree, it is a very mother-daughter bonding activity!
But under the best of circumstances, my daughter would never touch me feet-or anyone else's for that mater.
She a 15 year old girl.
We are both wearing sandals, and as far as I am concerned, people should get a permit to bare their feet.

I don't know if it's the best, but if you are really in need of a mani-pedi, try the nailplace at the mall. It's by Regis Hair Salon near the food court entrance. I've had my nails (mani-pedi) done there a few times and they are good.

Now, it's not a walk in place, but you may be able to get an appt for nails at Sakari. They are really good as well.

Thanks Magritte. Sakari is a little pricey for right now. Heard good things about them though.
There are two in the mall, I guess.
I have only been to the one near Penny's. This one must be on the other side.
In WV Mall right?

Thanks Magritte! We went to the other one at the mall and we were very pleased! It was like night and day compared to the other one in the mall (near JC Penny) not a fan.
But this one was good. Very fast, clean and professional!
Thanks for the recommendation!
