Lived a lot closer most of my life.. the area in question never flooded.. you may be thinking of the Olive street bridge area perhaps.. it does flood there, but its no where near the area in question.

If you are ok with the neighborhood, please buy the house and renovate it. The area will never change unless people such as yourself purchase some of these homes and rehab them block by block.

Yeh and there is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow right? ROFLMAO

Its going to be a long, long, long, long time before Pinebrook turns around, not in my lifetime at least.

Dan, didn't you say you only live 6 blocks from there? You think that you'd appreciate the investment.

All of these neighborhoods got bad one house at a time, no reason they can't get good one house at a time, too.

Pinebrook stays in Pinebrook, although my neighborhood is small, its just the way we like it and we have managed to keep the trash out of here by being diligent and staying on it.

Personally Pinebrook IMHO is a lost cause, no matter who invests there, it is what it is and as always been what it is, a slum.

That would be Greenridge, its at Glenn and one block from Greenridge st. Not that bad there, BUT there are few row-homes across the street and within one block that are, well problematic. Personally Sanderson sees a ton of traffic and that intersection is busy with the building block place right across the street and its the main line from Greenridge corners.
