I have heard that place is very over priced, any truth to that? Also was it once located somewhere else under a different name?

I'll second that, when I first went in 1987 it was awesome, when we last went I thought I had tasted the food before, from COSTCO! Yikes!

I agree. Do not go to Coopers.

The only other place I know for good seafood is:

Valley Seafood Wilkes Barre PA

But it isn't a restaurant. :/

That's at the Best Western Inn at Hunt's Landing in Matamoras Friday and Saturday nights. They charge $59.95 for their seafood buffet but it's all you can eat including lobster.

We haven't been here yet, but you might consider Doc Magrogan's in Moosic. Based on reports and reviews some people love it and some not.

It does look like a legitimate alternative to the usual local NEPA 'fish places'.

Wow!! I passed this hotel all the time and never knew they had a buffet. $59.95 a person is quite steep I am sure it is worth it, though.
