Hi, My family and I are planning to relocate out of Colorado and settle in another state. My question is, are the Poconos a good place to live? What's the cost of living and jobs? I will also be attending college and my daughter a pre-school. Or should I relocate to my two other options?

Florida is hot and muggy/buggy. Nevada (for the most part is dry, hot and dusty. Now what is the reason you are considering the Poconos? Your three choices are 1000 to 2000 miles apart.

Jobs??? Listen and listen carefully.....If you do not have employment secured prior to your move, you will regret the choice until you pack up and move again. I don't care what your professional career choice is, take the time to line up interviews and get a solid start date that fits both you and the employer. Until you get this commitment, all other points are mute. This is the best advise you will ever receive on this thread. Good luck.

all jobs in the Poconos are either guest service based around the weekend tourism industry or union carpenters and tradesman that commute 4 hours a day to NYC.

there is no job industry here. or at least in the traditional monday thru-friday 9-5 sense unless you work for the local school system.
