Was a union worker at a paper mill in pennsylvania, worked there for a year and 3 months. Job was based on a point system and I was late (maximum points of 7). And I was terminated. Was wondering if you guys can help me whether I can collect or not?

usually not if you were fired for cause. you could always file and see if the employer contests it . most do contest it . .

You can call (PAT) 888-313-7284. Be prepared to wait forever for them to pick up the phone. However; they will answer all of your questions and, if qualified, will place your original claim. Then you have two waiting weeks before your claim starts (it means that you will not see any money for one month after you leave your employer).

You can also go to PA.Gov: File an Initial Claim. That is the PA.Gov link for filling a new claim.
