Honesdale
Honesdale is a quaint small town with nice people. However, I would caution you about good medical care. The Wayne Memorial is marginal at best and I question the capabilities of many of the doctors. Over the years I have heard numerous complaints about misdiagnosing, non-treatment of patients (especially the elderly), etc. If you want good healthcare, you will have to travel to a larger city like Philadelphia or NYC.

Elegante on Main street has the best pizza sauce! I also really like The Boathouse restaurant in Hawley about 20 minutes away. Really good.

Another question
Anyone got any info on "fracking" in wayne county. I've heard the badness about Dimmock and saw on trulia that one poster believes fracking will destroy Honesdale. I assume any fracking would not occur within borough limits, but what do I know.
