There are lake shore properties on "Twin Lakes" that are not in a community- very expensive. There are rural properties around Greeley that are not in a community. Walker Lake does not have a formal HOA but a "landowners association."

Why must it be Pike County? There are lake front properties in Luzerne, Lackawanna and Wyoming Counties that are not in HOAs and many allow motor boats.

It doesn't have to be in Pike county. We just like the area. We want to have easy lake access, but not for a motorboat, so that doesn't make a difference to us either way. We would potentially be interested in any lake area that we could have a fence, but would like to stay east/northeast of Lake Wallenpaupack.
I was specifically asking about Walker Lake and Greeley Lake as each one currently has a house for sale that we might be interested in, but I'm having some difficulty with finding information on these areas.
