Except when I was very young and my grandparents owned one and I ran in for soda! Actually, when a teen, I did go to some but found out I did not like the feeling after - I rarely ever drink. I even have some liquor that is over 50 years old in the house - probably not good anymore?

One of your bigger challenges will be trying to find good takeout in the area. I do like Brother Brunos along side of Weis Market across from Walmart. I would also recommend the cheese stakes, calzones, and Stromboli's from Kasa's Pizza in Paradise Valley (you might see their address listed as Cresco). You do have the McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Kentucky Fried/Long John Silvers, Perkins not too far away. Possibly you will find something I do not know about? I do not care for the cheesesteaks from the little trailer by The Salvation Army Store up there, but I went to college outside of PHL back in the 1960s when they were first learning to make great cheesesteaks and I am hard to please.
haha we spend up to 50% of our time in Philly, I'm not worried about finding a good cheesesteak

(honestly the take-out up here *does* leave a little to be desired, but not the end of the world)

if you ever need a place to unload that booze I'm sure I could help you find a well-deserving soul

Great food can be found at Benny’s in Effort (Italian). That’s the second of his two locations. The other is in Reeders. Both are family owned and operated. It’s as close to NYC Italian we can find out here. Benny and his family are Albanian by way of the Bronx. I frequent led his original restaurant in Westchester Ciunty (unknowingly) for years before moving out here.

I think Fisheye took my recommendation and ate at the Reeders location.

I did and the food is great! It just takes longer to get there for me than Brother Bruno's or Kasas. But thanks for reminding me and I will have to get out there again. Keep in mind that Route 611 has had construction on it forever and that made that little trip longer.
