I saw $5.3490 in Delaware Water Gap today, at the Sunoco. The Gulf across the street was a little lower. I just checked Gas Buddy and those stations don't have a current price listed. These are the first gas stations you hit coming across the Delaware on I-80 from NJ.

Anyone else? What's the record price you've seen?

Get the app "Gas Buddy" onto your phone and it lets you see what others report in the area.

The highest I see now is the Turkey Hill at Pierce & Tioga at $5.19
Now the highest (after phone update) is the Wyoming Ave Turkey Hill at $5.26
The lowest is $4.89 at Sam's Club, and $4.99 at Sheetz across the way.

(and this is in Wilkes-Barre)

So $5.3490 is still tops. For now.

BTW for this exercise Gas Buddy doesn't work. If the data is not entered into Gas Buddy you don't know what the price is at a given station unless you drive there.

For example I have no idea what the price is in Delaware Water Gap today because I didn't drive over that way today, and the entries for those stations in Gas Buddy has expired.

Around here? $5.19 on Mulberry Street in Scranton.

However, in some parts of California, it's over $8 a gallon.

It’s been $5.299 at a few stations for the last week (a bit NE of Scranton).

Seems like Delaware Water Gap is the most expensive in NEPA. The Sunoco was 5.3490 last week and 5.3190 today. The Gulf is holding steady at 5.2490.

Being in that area with lots of NY, NJ, and interstate truckers it stands to reason prices would be higher in that area....

That's standard "right off the highway" pricing. It's a little cheaper in town. And I'm sure interstate truckers are smart enough to fill up on the Jersey side. At least the ones who will still be in business next year will do that.

I'm jealous! But at least I can gas up in NJ where the price is still $4.8590 a few miles from my office although I could buy it for $5.1990 in NJ if I wanted to.
