I don't think the landlord would allow a dish or antennae outside. It's a community and the rules state that. It's highway robbery what they charge. A Roku and apps are the most affordable app. He would have to get used to using it.

Like I've mentioned the best way to go is with BRC Stream+ you get the best of both: regular channels & Internet streaming plus if the TV he's using is a Smart TV he'd have access to what BRC doesn't offer also...such as the Peacock channel....good luck!!

I'm pretty sure you can download the Peacock app on your BRC Stream box.

No need to if you have a Smart TV....most likely already included in the installed apps the TV came with....there's also PlexTV which is also great for viewing movies, TV shows, and Plex will tell you what service to view the movie or show on if it's not part of Plex's offerings....here's a sample of what's available:
