I loved the "Q's" music myself, but, it was always at the bottom of the ratings. Low ratings=no money. That is how the radio industry works. These days, everyone is out to make the fast buck. There is also this mindset of all the "big name" stations - KRZ, Froggy, Magic 93 - always coming out on top, yet it is the "same-old, same-old." The River is getting ready to open its brand new studio in Mohegan Sun within the next two weeks. Anyone have an opinion on that? If you were going to the casino to play or eat or shop, would you really care beyond a few minutes that a radio station was located there?

I think before the Q, that was an oldies station. Wasn't it? Anyway I thought The River was a Scranton station. I had no idea they where gonna broadcast from Mohegan Sun... That's wierd. Personally I hate all the local radio stations, It's like a broken record. They play the same 20 songs over and over and over (expecially Rock 107!)

Yes, it was Oldies 92 and 100. Yes, The River is a Scranton station, but there is some deal between them and Mohegan Sun and voila! MS has its own radio station.
