That is a great story. Thanks for sharing. Now when I am cleaning the brush, I will be looking for Slither or his cousins

Georgia, If you happen to see Slither, please tell him to call home. His "Mommy" is worried about him.

I'm trying to recall if you found an existing home or if you are building. Either way, welcome to the mountains!!!

We did not build but our house is new. We are having fun getting to know the area. Trying to get things half-way normal. Our movers moved us in on the 15th but I feel like I am 1/4 unpacked. Still tons todo before I hibernate for winter

Ah, yes...your first winter in NEPA. This will be our second year here. I think we had our first foot of snow around November 19th last winter. I think you are more north than we are. I'm in western Monroe County.

btw, I think I recall that you mentioned being from/living in DE. I lived in Dover for a couple of years before the move here. I have a vacation house in Sussex County as well.

Its a small world after all. Yes, I grew up there. I was born in PA but raised in Dover, Delaware. Granduated from Dover High School and everything. Dad got a job at Dover Air Base when small PA airport laid him off. Sent us to Delaware and now I am back
