Whenever I drive through downtown Williamsport I cannot get Peter Gabriel's "Moribund the Burgermeister" out of my head and I have no idea why. It seems an odd match to me, but my subconcious seems to disagree.

Anything "gangsta rap" or "hip hop" reminds me of Wilkes-Barre.
Polka reminds me of Throop, Dickson City, Dupont, and just about all of the Wilkes-Barre Area as well....that's kind of "hayna er no" perogies-and-polka land down there in the Wyoming Valley.
Anything Italian reminds me of Jessup, Old Forge, Dunmore, Pittston....
Irish folk, celtic rock reminds me of Scranton....
Hispanic music makes me think of South Side and Hazleton...

I suppose you could say these two songs tongue in cheek of course would work for most of the valley.

"Working in a Coal Mine" by Devo or "Down in a Hole" by Alice in Chains
