I know it is dreadful to try and sell now but is it impossible. Thinking of putting up the house in the Spring.

What are realtors getting percentage wise these days?

Dingman obviously reminds me of Dingleberry. I'm sorry. That's jut how I feel in my heart.

In the past six months, about 144 homes have sold with a Milford or Dingmans address. (not counting state cabins or trailers in Lake Adventure or other similar locations) The average sale price for properties sold in the past six months was around 205,000.

On the other hand, nearly 300 listings expired unsold within that same time frame.

A lot of factors come into play - actual location, condition, and price being the main ones....

hmm, those arent great stats. I would be listing well above that price range but still less than what I bought for. Is there any way to see what houses are actually being sold for in a particular price range?

Google the county name plus "tax appraiser" to see public real estate transaction records.

I could not really find anything but a phone number searching that way. None of the realtor sites "what is my home worth" work either.

Agents seem to be getting between 6-8% commission. There are a few members here that have recently sold homes in that area so that may be of some help. Our home was listed for about 8 months but in our area our home was bigger and more money than most other homes so we didnt get any bites. It's tricky right now you may just want to hang onto it if you can!
