I posted about the sanitarium back in March of 07...have there been fires since then? My daughter had been there back then...(she's my wild one!)

The "Suscon Screamer" here in Pittston Township is probably one of the most well-known legends in Northern Luzerne County. Spyarella heard a version that involves a mother and child. I've always known a version of the tale that involved a newlywed husband and wife whose car broke down many years ago on this lonely rural (now suburban) roadway. The man left his bride to seek help, and when he returned his wife was slain. I believe there was also something to this where vehicles will actually roll uphill due to some sort of reverse-gravity phenomenon. The Suscon Screamer, which was the nickname for an old railroad trestle in the area, used to be located not far from the entrance to the present-day Gable Crest Estates subdivision, if I'm not mistaken. I've always wanted to investigate this myself.

My friend's daughter works at the Marquee Cinemas on Lackawanna Ave. and she has told her of many strange happenings. Might be something you want to look into.

Andy Gavin's has it's own resident ghost. 'George', I believe he's called. But the only thing scary thing about that place is the prices. The Banshee allegedly has a few ghosts hanging around. But the only scary thing about that place are the creepy owners.

I was born in Suscon My grandfather owned the phone Co. That is how far I go back. It is all bull! Me and my friends would dress Me up in a painter suit and a Halloween mask and I would walk across the bridge. So I am the Suscon screamer. The reverse-gravity phenomenon is up from Millers Bar 6-10 houses after is a small field on right and on left is a big field and a white home is there the hill will start to climb and more houses start on right. as you go past small field and buy driveway road drops a bit stop buy drive way put car in N take foot off break and car will go up hill.towards Millers bar If you turn around and look you are really going down hill it is an optical illusion.Did it with a School Bus one day.
