Which cell company is good in Scranton? I currently use Cingular and have no problems.

Thanks for the feedback.

I second that. We use Cingular as well and never have any problems. My ex also has Cingular, and I rarely lose him when he's driving around the backroads of the Poconos.

Ohhh! I'm glad this subject popped up!

How 'bout Verizon?

I did read somewhere that cell phone coverage is spotty up that way. It was a concern I had. Then, in the excitement of the adventure, I forgot about it. We are coming up to do the walk through at the home we bought in Pocono Lake this weekend. Guess I'd better test it out while I'm there.

I've used Verizon when visiting NE PA. For the most part, the service was good. I can remember two dropped calls.

sjpphoto - I can understand your excitement! I'm all atwitter just to go back up and walk through the house we are getting. Settlement is the end of April.

Thanks for the input, lfrankcone. My cell phone is my life line to my kids. I'd feel kinda lost without it.

We have Nextel and it works great here in Tunkhannock just north of Scranton. Never had a problem either!

<< WE ARRIVED IN SCRANTON >>

My family just enjoyed the heck out of the trip. We took our time and all went well.

Cell service is excellent. Abit rainy, but our spirits are sunshine all the way.

Cheers everyone.
