My comment was intended to be a joke. Businezguy's comment was intended to be vindictive because in the other thread he failed to read to learn that the OP NEEDED convenience to Philadelphia for medical purposes and lashed out at me for my apparent "love of Philly." There's a difference.

My post was meant to be vengeful, and my post attacked you with harsh words? Blessed are the meek...for they will inherit the Kingdom of God...or feel a bit martyred, at the very least.

My post seemed to contain an opinion different from yours, and certainly expressed impatience with the stereotypes expressed in it.

By the way, didn't your post contain rather more then an argument about a town you suggested because it was more affordable and closer to Philadelphia? I apologize, I thought you said some things about Stroudsburg that were a bit exaggerated. And here your argument was only about distance and affordability. I am just so embarrassed...where is my mind these days?

I have the same noise exactly how you describe it, seems to radiate through the windows at night.
The only thing I could figure out is that it is all the sound of all the night traffic put together from a distance when sound can travel greater distance at night just like short wave radio does and the big windows on my house do a great job of amplification of sound or acting like speakers, what really bugs me is I go outside and the sound is there but unnoticeable until you really make an effort to listen for it.
of coarse its only disturbing when I'm trying to sleep sometimes.
