Called Settler's Inn and wanted a table for a party of three, no room, they are a little snotty on the phone. Can anyone recommend a nice place for Thanksgiving?

Go to a VFW post or The American Legion post's Most of them hold Thanksgiving Meals and They are free or minimum priced


Its also a great way to meet new people and if you want you can donate to them also ..

Gotta support our Veterans .... Its because of them That we are able to be "'Thankful""

I would suggest Erhardt's or Rainetree. Both are restaurants that I would go back to in a second. I actually ate at Erhardt's three times and it was good. I also heard Greshems has great food.

I heard the Woodlands is supposed to have a nice spread.

reservations are usually tough there..... we couldnt get reservatioons last 2 years

The Woodlands is on Rte 315 in Plains Twp, just above Wilkes-Barre (near Mohegan Sun Casino)...
It's been there for many years and reservations are strongly suggested...It's pretty nice.
