Since we're going to be in the 90s today, I was wondering what everyone's doing to beat the heat.

Swimming? And if so, what's a good local pool that you'd recommend?

Or maybe going out to eat at an air conditioned restaurant?

Walking the mall? Going to a museum? Hanging out in a library?

Or..... what?

We're getting underway shortly....the Detroits are warming up as we speak. Going to head to a cove we like about 20 miles away and drop the hook for the night.

We're going to tow the jetskis behind the boat....if you can't cool off rippin' and splashin' about on those things...sumpin's wrong...

Stay cool everybody!

Its really uncomfortable out there today! I'm from Miami and should be used to this weather, but today I'd like to thank whoever invented air conditioning!

Car54...I think you have a great idea! Nothing like hitting the water when its hot! I'll give you a dollar if you take me with you!!

IMO, the way to cool down is with an ice cold brewski. So we're heading out to the Magnolia Beer Festival in Purcellville. 25 local breweries, music, and plenty of good food. Now that's what I call a good place to be on a hot afternoon.

I didn't -- I had to be out in the heat for two hours this morning, and even before noon it felt pretty brutal. So my AC is turned a little cooler than usual now!

Went to a friend's house where she fed me and let me play in her pool all afternoon. It was glorious.
