Great photos. I'm glad you included both glamour shots and shots of everyday things.

The photo of the random side street with garbage cans and recycling cans is my favorite. You could use that photo for one of those "find 5 typical Nova things" types of games. You managed to show typical street signs, a construction crane, how we recycle, etc.

But what I noticed more than anything else is how clean the streets were in that photo--even though the trash cans were out. Talk about an interesting insight into life in Nova. There aren't that many cities that look as well kept as this area. That's one of those things I don't tend to notice until I see a photo, and then it catches my attention.

You really did a good job with this.

Oh, and I like the photo of the Ballston sign, too. Just because I've always liked that sign and I like seeing it in photos. Very colorful and eye catching.

I'm curious what time of day you took these. I like how many people are out walking around... and also how many shots show streets or lots with an open parking space or two (granted, there aren't many. But more than I expected.).

bmwguy captured the NSF building in this photo -- it's just after the traffic light on the left (that's the N Stuart/Wilson Blvd intersection).

Thanks, everyone. I am happy to pull these together, and am in the process of Clarendon, which has even more pictures. It should be up in a little while.

I took the pictures during the late morning/early afternoon, on a Thursday, when I had some free time in my schedule.
