Thanks, Caladium. You should check it out if you're in the area. And, Santa appears at Woody's on Friday from 6-8. and again next Saturday from 6-8 -- unique as it's the first time they have been open at Christmas.

You can even have dinner in one of the restaurants nearby and then check out the lights, and sound as there is also a sound system broadcasting music. There's more in the Kitty Pozer park, but the combination of the late hour, and the cold, kept me from exploring it in depth, photographically. I will see if I can make it back at a more reasonable hour.

Nice pics. I think when it warms up, I'm going to start going around and taking some pics of the area with my camera. I love how Virginia preserves a lot of their historical buildings.

We don't have a lot of them, but we try to take care of the ones we have.

Yay... I love Old Town Fairfax so much that I'm going to volunteer at the Museum & Visitors' Center even if I end up living in Vienna (near the Metro). Heh.. that'd be just like me, to start volunteering at a place *after* I move away from being, like, two blocks away from it.

But, yes, the sky was really pretty when I rode home in a taxi yesterday evening (twilight-ish) from Dulles, and the Christmas decor on Main St. made me feel happy. So it's good to be home.. sorta.. even if it's only for five days. Then it's off to toasty San Antonio for two weeks!
