LOL I wish you luck with this. My neighbor got excited this summer when a number of prime properties near us went up for sale. He saw 2-3 For Sale signs on the same street and thought it was his lucky day. So he put his house up for sale and approached all the sellers with lowball offers, thinking one was bound to bite. But that's not what happened. Seems like the sellers were content to wait until they get their price (or close to it).

Eventually most of the houses sold--right now there's only one of them left. Maybe the sellers took their homes off the market or maybe they got their asking price--I'm not sure what happened but what I do know is they weren't interested in lowball prices.

It was good news for us, since we like our neighbor and are glad he's staying. He got an offer for his house but decided not to sell it since the whole point was to see if he could snag a mansion. Since that didn't happen, he decided to stay where he was.
