I've been offered a librarian job straight out of graduate school that pays $47000 year. The job is located in Manassas. Would this salary get me by?

In general, $1000/month is sort of the starting price for decent one bedroom apartments in the outer suburbs so I'm sure you'll find some decent ones in that price range, probably even a few for less, in Manassas where rents as a whole tend to be a bit cheaper than elsewhere.

my cousin makes about 35 and lives in a nice townhouse off of Sudley Manor in manassas, try there its better than manassas park, but also not to expensive as it would be out towards 234.

definitely dont disagree with that lol, georgetown south pops out of no where with a really bad neighborhood, then you go under the train bridge through manassas city and all of the sudden you got million dollar homes...kinda crazy
