With about only an inch of snow on the ground early Thu afternoon, I just had a plow go up and down my county street in my West Springfield neighborhood street!

Vienna did a good job plowing streets again. IMO, if you're buying a rambler, the town tax of about $1,000 a year covers reliable trash pickup, improved police service, and improved snowplowing, and is worth it for me compared to the similar houses S and E of the town. OTOH, if your house is bigger the tax is bigger, and so other factors have to come into play.
