Morning everyone,

I am sure this question has come up in previous post but I will be relocating to the NOVA area and will be working at Quantico. My current plan is to rent and possibly buy in Alexandria for a reverse commute because I want to be close to dc just in case I were to get promoted again and I do not want to have to relocate again. My budget will be around $1900-$2200. I am single with no kids. Can anyone suggest a good area I am not a big nightlife person but I do like to go out at least twice a month. Any information would be helpful and also areas I should avoid. Thanks

I really like the Kingstown area. It's near Springfield and close to Metro and VRE in case you have to go to DC for work or nightlife. It's also not a bad drive into DC if you so choose. Area is close to shopping and restaurants as well. With your budget you can also do Ballston which is also close to public transport and has better access to nightlife.

Default where to live if working at Quantico

thanks. I think I have it narrowed down to the franconia/kingstowne are or west springfield. I have alot of fmaily that will want to travel via metro so I want to be able to get to a station in about 20 min. I do like the kingstowne area. I also saw some condominiums at Old Lake Rd. Any suggestions on what areas to stay away from?
