I totally thought this was about the iPhone coming to Verizon Wireless. Oops! Hope it was fun - I've always been curious about these, but wouldn't personally pay money for it. If someone else paid my way, though...

Is Old Dominion Speedway still there? Man, do I have fond memories of that place! In the 50's, my dad used to take us to the races on Saturday night....in those days ODS was on the NASCAR circuit. You could go down into the pits and talk to the drivers and get autographs....I still have King Richard's (Petty), Ned Jarrett's, and Fireball Robert's autographs.

Years later, I won a few trophies on OD's eighth mile drag strip with my SS 427 Chevelle. Fun place back in the day!

It's still there but not owned by the Gore family any longer. Not sure who the owners are now. There was talk of it selling to a developer but I doubt that's an option now.
