Any idea where I can find bunny ears for a Chinese New Year Party? (It's the Year of the Rabbit this year.) I thought I would hit a few easter displays but I guess it's still too early for that. I hate to go to a costume store because they're pricey, so I'm hoping someone here has a better suggestion.

Ummm...maybe you could put a new take on the concept of bunny ears by sticking a pair of those old rabbit-ears TV antennas on your head? You'd certainly stand out in the crowd, but I can't swear to the 'reception' you'd get, so to speak.

Bring oranges for your hosts and have plenty of red envelopes filled with small amounts of money for the children.

What do the oranges symbolize?

They were saying on the news last night that in the Year of the Rabbit a rabbit can predict economic problems. Is that just economic problems in China or can Virginia rabbits predict the local economy? If they can... anyone stop to ask their local rabbits what lies ahead?

Hey, too bad we don't have a local Playboy Club. I'm sure you could get a nice bunny suit there.

A lot of party supply stores - or at least the one that I go to off Route 1 in "South" Alexandria (Beacon Mall) - seem to have a small selection of holiday paraphenalia on hand year-round. I wouldn't be surprised if bunny ears were on-hand.

Have you tried Michael's? They usually always have their Easter Stuff out early but they also have patterns so that you could make your own ears from that cheap foam stuff. Either way, it will probably be cheaper than anything you can buy at a costume store.
