Smart Cooling Rewards

I'd love to hear opinions on this program. Do you think it is good or bad?
We usually keep our thermostat between 78-82 in the summer.

Honestly, I don't think $40 is that much of an incentive - you wold basically be saving $10 per month on your electric bill. Having said that, when I was single in Maryland and had a roommate, she was part of a similar plan through PEPCO, and it was really no big deal. We both worked full time, though and went out a lot, so we weren't home much.
