Do not go anywhere near Cox internet. It is dreadful. Dial-up was faster than it was.

If you can get Verizon FIOS jump on it now. My wireless network runs almost as fast as my desktop.

If you can get FIOS, it's pretty much the best service anywhere. I have it; most of our friends all got it, too. I don't know anyone dissatisfied with it. I think Consumer Reports rates it highest, and I'd agree.

+++++ totally agree

If you want best internet speed, excellent picture quality, get FIOS.

Offcourse, Verizon customer support is notorious.I have never completed the call in less than 45 mins and it is dreadful.

COX quality sucks (sorry if I offend anyone).

I moved to area where there is no FIOS and I can see the difference between them..and I give full marks to COX broadband customer service (always less than 10 mins on phone)

Verizon's customer support is dismal. I still have to deal with those clowns when my parents' have issues, which means I need a stiff drink before I make the call. I have everything with Cox and have never had a problem with them or their products.
