I'm looking for a new vet clinic in NoVa. Any recommendations? Cat only places would be best, but I'd love to hear recommendations of general vet clinics people think are really good. We don't like our current vet clinic and so are looking for a new one.

I've used The Cat Hospital of Fairfax for years and I'm very loyal. I love Dr. Ellison.

There is a cat only vet in Kingstowne in the shopping center right on the corner of Van Dorn and Springfield Pkwy. I've never been there so I can't vouch for their service.

I love my old vet. I moved out of the area so I can't go there, but I wish I could. It's Columbia Pike animal hospital in annandale. They also have an office in FFX and it's called Town & Country Animal hospital. Most of the vets there are great, but I especially love Dr. Collada. He is so caring and takes the time. I so wish I could still go to him. THey were recommended by the SPCA when I was looking for a new vet and wasn't sure who to go to. The owners of the practice, are still practicing vets a father and son team. THey are the best vets I've ever been to.

Our pets are gone but I liked Alexandria Animal Hospital (but they are all pets).

Depends where you are, but we absolutely love Dr. Simmons at Reston-Herndon Animal Hospital. Not cats only, but we have three cats, all with various and numerous maladies, and she's kept them alive far longer than I believe anyone else could have.

Default Great Vet

I am a native of N.VA but live in FL now. My Vet was Del Ray Animal Hospital, off of Jeff Davis Highway in Alexandria, VA and is excellent for Cats and Dogs. I have taken my cat there forever. They also have good fees. Old Town Veternarian is very expensive, so I would avoid them.

What do you like about her? I want to change vets; I was very dissatisfied with my old vet in DC, I felt the care at that clinic was not good.

I have a dear cat and live in north Arlington and have been going to Suburban Animal Hospital near the intersection of Lee Hwy (Rt 29) and I-66 for the nine years that I have been living here. They're on the border between Arlington and Falls Church. I tried several vets after moving from Maryland and having a wonderful vet there. The first two made me concerned. Suburban is very nice with great doctors and they give you a good feel about how your pet will be cared for. The treat dogs and cats and have a large waiting area. Moderate rates for services.
