Middleburg, VA is the market center for this area, and there is a small memorial plaque at the visitor's center to Jackie Kennedy who used to reside in the area and was a rider. They still ride to the hounds there and once a year the horse and riders in their riding garb parade through town with the "master of hounds" with horn and a pack of hounds. If this is a mystery to you, the hounds chase a fox, the riders follow the hounds over hill and dale jumping the many wooden fences surrounding the horse pastures. If you think its easy, try it.

Elizabeth Taylor, herself , used to ride in the area tied to her horse (the lady did drink a bit) when she was married to a Virginian. LBJ in his time used to week-end on an estate just above Middleburg opposite the pink house where local lore has it ladies of a certain persuasion would cometh.
Nope. Duvall's a fellow native Californian.

Liz Taylor was married to our Senator John Warner.

Did you pull this description out of a tourist brochure or a 70s edition of the World Book Encyclopedia?

He was here in Nokesville filming part of Fugitive or one of those movies in the 90's. He was an ass. Have been around quite a few and generally I'm just not impressed. I had to escort one of South America's biggest singing sensations in or around 2004 and she was a looker. The guys were ready to kill for her.
You're thinking of Donna Dixon I think. Her dad owned a rough bar in dumfries called 'Hillbilly Heaven', and she is now married to Dan Akroyd and speaks with a british accent for some reason.

That's what Duvall told me, and that what he said in a special on the color TV. Sorry Bob.

He'll need to produce a birth certificate to convince us. I think you misunderstood him. His Father was from VA but he wasn't. Sorry Bob:

No. Not Donna Dixon, whoever that is. And like Car54 says that bar was in FX near the Woodbridge line. The actress I'm talking about was Goldie Hawn. I remembered the movie name and Googled it. It was Best friends.

I'm not sure if you're addressing me here, but if so, I'll respond.

I am familiar with "The Plains;" my reference to it (and misspelling) earlier was a typo. I am familiar with Middleburg, as I live there. I also foxhunt with Fairfax Hunt (first field) so I'm quite familiar with foxhunting and how it works and how "easy" it may or may not be. You seem to know how easy it may or may not be, do you hunt?

I'm not saying foxhunting is easy; it's very hard on your body and your horse. But your tone is pretty condescending - and silly.

Before she hit the big time, Goldie used to dance at Shepherd Park (strip club). Don't ask me how I know that...
