Good news! The dog is BACK HOME!!!

On Tuesday, the shelter called her back to see if she had been reunited with her dog. She told them of the continued problems with the incorrect phone number. They finally told her what street the dog was on (they were unable to contact the finders either) and she went to that street (which was HUGE) and put flyers in everyone's mailbox and talked to the neighbors. Finally, yesterday, the guy with the dog called her. He never bothered to check his mailbox even though he actually saw her driving up and down the street and passing out flyers. He thought she was handing out political literature.

They picked up the dog on Friday night near the Shoppers in Lorton (she lives behind the Shoppers). He was soaking wet. They took care of him all weekend, bought him food, and he played with their dogs. They were planning on keeping him if he was not claimed so, he was lucky dog, I think.

He's back home now and my coworker said he doesn't seem "right". He's old so hoping he's just stressed out and tired.

That's great, great news! I am so happy that they are back together and safe and sound! So, so lucky!

Side note: putting flyers into mailboxes is actually illegal lol!
