My husband has semi long hair (passed his shoulders). But he has it short on the sides just a tad for it to look clean and the back - no, it's not a mullet .

Can anyone recommend a good hair stylist for him? He just needs it trimmed all around but he's afraid to go to a barber because he doesn't want anyone to mess it up. It takes forever for his hair to grow. This is 5 years of growth. We lost our old hair stylist to another state!

We live in Manassas so any recommendations in the area would be appreciated.

Sure sounds like a mullet. Hmmmm. Otherwise, I have a flattop and only use barbers so I'll be of no help.

Try Traci at Salon Nordine in Gainesville. She won't mess it up.

Haha, it's not a mullet. It is short right around the sides around the ear - not like the whole side. Then it is has a bit of shortness in the back. This is because it's tied in a pony tail and has to look professional. LOL, I'm from Vermont - we're very mullified...not my husband though. He was former military with a high and tight his entire life. He's american indian so he found a good medium. Thanks marie5v, I'll look Traci up at Salon Nordine.

Would you say your husband is business in the front and party in the back?

Have to admit, I wore a mullet when I was a kid in the 80s. Also have to admit I wore a little bit of eye shadow too, but hey, it was the 80s, what do you want!

OMG yes! That would have been pretty much a pre-requisite!
