So.... what do you think about this kid in Stafford who ran onto the football field in a banana suit? He was suspended for disrupting a football game by running onto the field during half time wearing a banana suit.
What punishment would you have given? (Besides splitting him in half and covering him with ice cream and a cherry.

suspension is overkill. I would hate to be a kid nowadays. The schools now are more concerned about control ,conformity and cya. My kid was in kindergarden and pulled a girls skirt down. They wanted to get the police involved!!

According to a report on WJLA's newscast late this afternoon, in addition to a 10-day suspension, the school system is actually considering expelling him. Ridiculous -- I guess the Stafford County school board is in dire need of a double dose of Metamucil.

When it said suspension I thought it was a 1 or 2 day suspension which is not that much of a deal and I consider an understandably firm punishment. Now 10 days? Over the line for sure.
I've said it before and I'll say it again; schools these days are better preparing our kids more for prison than the working world.
