Just saw a couple of Fairfax's finest checking out their brand new unmarked Black 2012 GT500 with tinted windows. It has a very hard-to-see lightbar in the rear window. This vehicle is for one thing only, to goad people into speeding and then pulling them over. Just a heads up to anyone that cares.

Not sure how a black Mustang goads people into speeding?

I'm sure that's not it either. Other police departments use unmarked cars like this because nobody's going to drive like the own the road when there's a marked police car in sight.

The other day as I was traveling north on 28, I saw an unmarked pickup truck pulling a car over giving him a ticket.

If the morons are going to race they will do it with anyone. A trained and professional LEO is not going to make anyone race.

Untrue, they will often times ride your tail and/or drive in other aggressive manners. When you take off to get them off your butt.. they pull you over. Let's not pretend that a two door sports car can be used for anything other than writing speeding tickets. It has no additional support structures like an interceptor, cannot carry the same amount of supplies, and has no backseat for suspects.

Nice use of taxpayer funds....a $55,000 police car that goes 175 mph. Guess Fairfax is full of speeders that go 150+mph in dead-stopped traffic.

Could have been a seized vehicle.

I've seen a black avalanche and red "dually" pickup in Manassas before too.
