Looking to sell a house in Ashburn, VA in the coming months, and would appreciate referrals of seller agents who would be willing to give a 2% rebate back to us on the commission. If you have worked with anyone who you would recommend, please do let me know. Thanks.

Are you expecting full service on that 1%, or just someone to put it on the MRIS and handle paperwork?

You may be able to find another realtor that will do it for 1%, but I wouldn't expect full service. If you are just looking for a paper pusher you can probably find a listing service and use an attorney at closing for even less.

Real estate people will tell you there that you shouldn't use a rebate realtor because they won't be as good or work as hard and if your home sells for 3% less than what it could have sold for with a traditional realtor than you actually lost money. If you ask people that have actually worked with iagent/redfin you will find that this is not the case and that people are very happy with their services...it is a niche product.

How much would you offer the agent who brings the buyer?

.5% ?!?!?

Yeah - unless you're offering 3% to the buyers agent, plan on being blacklisted for sure!

I would list it for 99 and pay the buyer's agent 3%. Some Realtors readily admit that they will not show properties, whose commissions don't conform. It's unethical.

While it wasn't written out explicitly if someone is asking about a seller's agent comission rebate it is implied that the buyer's agent will still be receiving 3%. C'mon people.

Do you plan to rebate 2/3 of your pay back to your employer, after you've done the work?

No service at all. Just paperwork.
