Hello,
We're looking at a move to NOVA in the late summer and would like to live in Vienna because of the metro stop. Looking at prices, though, I'm not sure we can afford it. We're looking to stay under $350,000. Is there anywhere that would be a reasonable drive to get to the Vienna metro station that would get us more in that price range? Thanks!

Look at Falls Church.
If you dont mind living in an older small home, you might find something in your price range there.

There are condos near the metro in your price range.

Depends on what you're looking for. A single family house? No way. But you might be able to do a condo under 350.

Fairfax City is a nice place to live and you might be able to find something there. It's a short drive to Vienna Metro.

What do you consider a reasonable drive? My future father-in-law takes a bus from Manassas to Vienna metro every morning. But he wakes up at o dark thirty.

Newk~ I'm thinking about a 10-15 minute drive, considering a trip on the metro is tacked on.

Thanks everybody for your ideas. That's encouraging to know that there do seem to be some things in our price range close by!
