I live in Gainesville... willing to travel to Haymarket, Bristow, Gainesville, Manassas, Centreville and maybe Fairfax. Can someone recommend an optometrist in the area that doesn't have a different eye doctor and staff every two weeks, who is knowledgeable about the insurance plans they accept, and doesn't try to rip you a new one on glasses and contacts? I've lived here for 5 years and I have yet to find an eye place I like!

Well, you didn't mention Woodbridge, but we have used Dr. Nancy Graves for years. Dr. Graves was in an accident a few years ago so I rarely get an appointment with her but she is often there overseeing the office. Last time I went, she had two great doctors working with her (Dr. Sleva who my daughter loves and another that I can't think of his name but he was very good). The staff has been there for awhile and they have been pretty good with us. They are located on Golansky Blvd which is near Smoketown Rd and the Prince William Parkway.
