Buying Tires

Well, the OP has his tires, but for anyone else, many local places will usually match Tire Rack prices (their price plus their shipping price) including at least Currys and NTB.

I have very mixed feelings on Costco. Their price is right and they offer better warranty and free lifetime rotation and such. However, their skills are bad. I've asked them a bunch of times to retrain the tire pressure sensors and they never do, so when the right front is low, the dash says the left rear is low, etc... Also, one of our cars has plastic lug nut covers, and they never put them back on tight enough, so usually by the time I'm home, I've lost a few. Finally, one time during a rotation I specifically said the tire pressure was low to please fill it. and sure enough they return the car to me with...low tire pressures.

Honestly, I just price out the tire I want on tirerack, including shipping and install, then take that price to a retail store here (Merchant, Just Tires, Discount Tires, etc) and they will usually match it (assuming they're higher priced than tirerack). Plus, you get free rotations and warranty point of contact when you need it. Much easier than using tirerack for the same price on the same tire and same service.
