I know its just a case of spring fever, but does anyone know if there is anything special going on this weekend?

It depends what you feel like doing. There's a home and garden show at the Dulles Expo Center.

If you have spring fever, the Home and Garden show is a great choice. I love the demo gardens there. They have thousands of potted hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, blooming cherry trees, etc. It smells so good and just the sight of all those blooms in the fantasy gardens puts me in the mood for spring.

Also, if you want something spring-oriented Merrifield Garden Center is holding a class on attracting birds. I may be angry with them right now, but I'll still promote their classes.

I think there is a wine expo this weekend too (in Richmond though). I saw a friend mention it on Facebook.

One warning: The air temps may seem warm but do NOT go kayaking yet. The water is still very cold and the current is dangerous at this time of year.
