For some reason I really enjoy bike mechanics. I'm always jealous of the guys working at bike shop service departments. I think i missed my calling.

There is now a bike shop in Annandale, called, creatively enough, Annandale Bike Shop. They do repairs and sell used bikes.

in that back alley area, off LRT, between Han Gong (sp?) and TD bank. Behind the tobacco shop, and across from the VW repair shop.

Is that place back...or did it never leave? There was a bike (and lawnmower) shop in that spot since at least the early 60's. I bought several Schwinns there as a kid.

When I left my bike for repairs they didnt have a phone yet, I took the guys cell phone number. And when I picked it up they didn't yet have a credit/debit carder reader (resulting in a quick ride to the bank - we don't bank at TD). So they are new. When I asked about repair shops here earlier, no one mentioned one, so I think they are new and that the space was probably used differently in the intervening period.
