FM106.7 I think very good baseball announcers...they make the game fun and interesting to listen to on the radio...kinda old school.

LOL that's probably why I liked him so much. Corniness and baseball kind of go together well.

Who would you rather see the Nats play, if they make it to the World Series and why:

Tigers or Yankees

It was painful to watch, not to mention COLD! I pity anyone who drove into the game and was planning in I66 west to get home. It was shut down at the beltway for construction. We were on metro and was amazed looking at the miles of backup on westbound 66 plus the beltway and its exits onto 66. Then it was almost surreal to see no traffic at all on 66 west before the Vienna metro station. Thank goodness for metro.

The Nationals had a great season. They came close to making it to the 2nd round, and that's a whole lot better than many teams. This year was good; their future is looking bright.

And personally, this team got me back to watching and reading and in every way following baseball again after a LONG time of my not caring at all about the sport. Now, I'm really looking forward to next season.

It's the only sport where men wear handlebar mustaches, knickers (or are they just nylon jodphurs?), and mullets. It's like a bunch of 19th-century brewery workers got transported through time to the present.

But they're manly enough to pull it off.
